Help Streaming player restarts with call or text message

The stock streaming player on the evo seems to restart whenever you receive a text our call. This is very annoying because it also won't let you fast forward. It always starts the file over from the beginning. Does anyone havea fix for this? Or maybe a different player that works better?
 
Come on some one else must have this problem. And nothing uss more annoying than being 20 minutes through a pod cast and having to start all over because you get a phone call.
