streaming problems

I am constantly having problems streaming both audio and video. I love listening to internet radio. i heard that sprint chokes off certain streams and that there is a way to fix it with the master lock code. has any one else heard this.

Um, they have a special stream for youtube to optimize streaming video.

I use pandora and slacker(internet radio) and audiogalaxy(stream from computer) and never have problems unless service is bad.

I have never heard of this. I use Pandora on a daily basis though and have never had any problems at all. The one thing I have noticed is that when streaming Pandora if I leave the screen on it streams excellently, but if I let the screen time out then eventually I will lose the signal and have to turn the screen back on to regain signal. I believe this is because the cell radio shuts itself off after a pre-determined amount of time when the screen is off.

Not sure if you still need help but it's more or less the same as the Evo. You need your MSL, and then press ##3282#. I forget which setting it is exactly but you have to edit whatever mentions something about rtsp.sprint.com or vog.sprint.com to 0.0.0.0. I wasn't able to listen to the Sirius app on my Hero until I did this.

Davo1224 - Pretty sure the ##3282# only works from a sense Rom.

There is an App in the Market - believe called MSL locator though.
