Help Streaming Video...

Is the HTC Incredible capable of watching streaming video? For example, full FOX episodes, like Family Guy and such? Or is there an app for it?

I just tried playing some videos from th fox website. It played the ad(lagging of course) but told me the video was unavailable. This is because the DI only has flash lite. Should be better when we get the full version.

Just tried it out with skyfire 2.0 app and was able to watch it with no problems at all. The advertising endorsement didn't even play! The episode just started to play! Awesome!

Skyfire IS awesome. It plays videos that the regular browser doesn't play. I played a full COPS episode and 24 for about 20 minutes. Sadly, it started a House video, but cut off after about 5 minutes. But it shows promise...I'm still checking it out, watching a Bones show now. BTW, the videos I watched were on the mobile network, not WI-FI. Hopefully it will hook up and work with my SUV entertainment system via TV out.

Overall, the browser itself is far superior to the stock browser, IMO.

Yes skyfire is awesome but I can't seem to fast forward or rewind. Hopefully they'll add that when it comes out of beta.

The tv.com ap also has full-length episodes of shows, past and present, from CBS. Oldies include Star Trek, Perry Mason. Free ap, free shows...for the bored stuck in airports...

I got my TVersity setup to work on it using nswPlayer
it works away from home and not just on your network

I used the flash interface and it worked great, i even streamed my Sirius to it

I use Orb to stream videos from my desktop to my DI. Works great and the desktop app is free but the full version on the android app is 10 bucks but it lets you watch videos on your desktop computer, view webcams on your desktop, and even watch live tv (if you have a hardware tv tuner on your desktop) from your android phone.
