Street View

so I must be losing it. I can't figure out how to get street view working. I type in the name of a place that's suppose to be supported, pull up, and there is no street view option. Great Barrier Reef for example. What am I missing?
 
Street view depends on Google driving around taking pictures of all over the world. Not every place you want to see is covered yet.
 
Barrier reef has been covered (thanks for reminding me AND Galapagus islands!)
Have you installed the separate street view app?
Is your phone powerful enough for it?
Is your data fast enough?

Good luck. I get lost on google earth/maps/streetview for hours sometimes.
Its VERY resource hungry though so the more RAM and faster Data you have, the better :)
 
Yes, that location is supposed to be in there. I do have the separate app installed. Of course, it won't run since it's suppose to just add functionality to Maps, as I understand it. I am using a Galaxy Note 3, which is the most powerful phone currently, I believe. My connection was 4G at the time, but I'm going to try it again now that I am home on Wifi to see if the result is any different.

Thats weird man. Yeah you have like a superphone so there should be no problems man :confused:
