Help Strnge characters when sending mail via active-sync!

I have configured an active-sync email account to synchronize my company email with my phone. I have set up my account and I can receive mail with no problem. The thing is that when I send mail with my phone the mail gets to its destination but instead of text the other person sees something like the following:

 
Gave up!, Installed TouchDown app. from NitroDesk and works fine now... don't know if the problem was the character locale or the default mail client that came with android... :-(
