So I rooted my desire using the r6 guide from MoDaCo. Worked well, no problems. recovered my personal data and apps, set my alarm went to sleep.
Alarm goes off, get out of bed and all still fine.
Then... I decided to apply apps2SD picking up at the end of Lekky's guide. Followed it word for word but once complete, it wont boot past the HTC boot screen (the white screen with logo).
I am going to try and reapply the rooted rom (if I can get my blackberry to turn on to write to the goldcard).
But, does anyone have any idea what could have gone wrong? I really want apps2SD, but this could all go pear-shaped again.
Are there any other tried and tested methods to get apps2sd on a stock superuser rom?
