Root stuck at bootloop, when trying to flash using lmstool it says battery level is low. please help

hi guys, I need help. I am about to lose it.

this is an old phone that I am trying to recover to give to my mom and save some money.

phone was rooted but after not using it for a while it gave me some kind of security error at startup and hang there. I was able to recover using the lg mobile support tool. this allowed me to retrieve old pictures from the phone. after that due to the phone crashing a lot, I did a hard reset and I am now stuck in a boot loop with lg logo and metro animation.

I can put the phone in download mode and emergency mode and the lg mobile support tool recognizes it but when i try to recover it i get "battery level is low and upgrade is unavailable"

please point me in the right direction.

Also this happened to me once, what fixed it was going to a different computer and using the lg mobile support tool to 'upgrade my recovery'.

If you don't have another computer, right click on the "lg mobile support" icon on your desktop, click 'open file location' and it'll bring you to the folder "LGMOBILEAX". Delete this folder, along with the lg content folder in your C:\ directory, then reinstall the program. Let me know if this helps.

hi, thanks for your help. I have another computer and I just finished trying to upgrade/recover. it gets stuck in the same spot and it tells me "battery level is low and upgrade is unavailable".

i read the link you sent me, option 1 i get stuck and option 2 i cant do since my phone is stuck at boot.

do you think its possible that this is actually an issue with my battery?

I have to put the phone in download mode for it to be recognized by the lg support tool.

any other ideas? thanks for your help.

I was able to get the restore going with a different computer with windows 8.

however, I get stuck at 4% upgrading your phone due to an error. any ideas?
