From everything I've read and all the threads, I see you need a SD card to get from this situation .. Is their anyway out of this possibly ? :(

I tried .. using the volume keys and then it pops up white letters etc etc reset all and then back to the LG logo .. This happened right after I fixed it from fastboot crap :(

but did you install a recovery? cuz if you did you could always recover your data by pressing both volume keys at the same time as you boot up your phone, then when it promps you to reset your press the power button from 3-4 times, but just in case you didnt have recovery theres still a way you could unbrick your phone throught qpst but i havent looked into the details on that but i know it involves you downloading a .tar file ,but you might wanna ask around here in the threads about it

update: okay i did some research for you and Do you happen to know what software version is on the phone and if it's been updated? Look under the battery and you should see a white sticker that say zva, zvb, zvc, or zvd. If you have anything but zvd, then all you gotta do is go to lg's website and
Go to LGs website and go to mobile phones then find the Esteem. You should see a link for software upgrade/usb drivers. Click it and then download the LG update tool. Install it, then turn the phone on and see if the tool sees your phone. It'll tell you what sw version you have and if you have the latest (zvd) if it says there's an update, and not that you already have the latest update, click update and it'll take about 20-30 minutes and it'll update you to the latest version and return you back to 100% stock and it'll boot right up

Hey if it's possible can you get me the link to that.. I looked all on the LG site and couldn't find it

but you say it boots up right? the computer should recognize it,did you install the lg esteem drivers on it? if not they should also be on that website

then your probably gonna have to go through that qpst route and put your phone into download mode, ima do some research on it and ill let u know whats up when i find out out,or you could do a search in the threads

U r right about the drivers needing to b installed on the comp. She also needs to either boot her phone into fastboot or download mode and then use the lg update tool. But I am not sure as to how to do either right this second, I am having some issues with my brain for a moment and I also don't have the estemee (my wife does) so I'm not all to familiar with it but I do spend as much time on this side of the forum as I do on the connect side, I just post more over there cause I have that phone and the two r different but not at the same time, u know. but anywayz, if u flashed the boot looper fix, it wipes cwm from ur phone and removes the root that was previously on ur phone I believe. At least that's what the one we have for the connect does, so u know for future reference. I hope u get ur phone right, we have a lot of helpful peeps here

yeah your totally right ,i was thinking of that same route and i think that i might just be the drivers or maybe shes not doing it correctly, omce she gets into cwm she could just flash the bootloop fix to get out of the bootloop

I've tried to hold the volume buttons and it goes to the white letters factory reset .. and I hit the power button 4 times quickly like u say then bam it's back straight to the LG screen

Yea that method isnt gonna work anymore cause u don't have cwm installed on ur phone anymore. U r gonna have to boot it into either fast boot or download mode and use the lg update tool to get ur phone back to stock like when u 1st got it from metro. And u also have to make sure u have the correct drivers installed for ur phone on ur PC in order for the computer to recognize ur phone. I will do some searching through the forum and c if I can dig up a guide that can help u with this delema.
