Stuck at Samsung Boot

Well it was all going so well, installed NeatROM lite v4.2 last night, work flawlessly until this morning, out of the blue the phone became sluggish, pulled battery and restarted but sticks at Samsung boot screen, went into recovery to reinstall, but after wiping cache partition I tried to wipe Dalvik and got the following error:

E: unknown volume for path [/sd-ext]

Help please.
 
The error message is common on jb apparently. And according to learned one's on xda is not a problem, just ignore.

I've been sick on Samsung logo a few times on latest neat when flashing incompatible mods. I've found sometimes that simply rebooting from recovery works, if not wipe cache and dalvik and fix permissions, if not restore from your bandaid backup

EDIT I love predictive text, a bandaid backup sounds much more appropriate than a nandroid anyway!!

Thanks, rebooting from recovery same problem, but unable to wipe dalvik as getting that error message
 
Try wiping cache first, before trying to wipe dalvik.
If that fails, try flashing Dori kernel
if that fails, restore a CWM backup
if that fails, reflash your ROM
if that fails, then the GS2 can come in very handy to level up a wonky table

Can anyone explain whats going on !!! I did a factory reset and was able to get into phone, started reconfiguring but when I restored my Android ID after the reboot got stuck back at Samsung Galaxy SII GT-I9100 splash screen.
 
Well Hawker, I managed to get it back by doing a factory reset, I'm a bit confused how this happened out of the blue "not that I'm blaming" Sale, his NeatROM is so buttery smooth.
What generally is the cause for the phone sticking at the initial Samsung Galaxy SII 1900 splash ?
 
its an issue with the stock LS8 kernel, and Neat comes with PhilZ bundled, and PhilZ kernel is pure stock.

Safest bet would be to flash neat then install Dori
