FYI the bootloop is normal when going from 2.2 back to 2.1 using the SBF file. After using the 2.1 SBF over the top of 2.2 you need to go into Recovery and factory reset and then the device will boot fine. Also root needs to be done on the 2.1 file and then updated to 2.2 and that is why more then likely why you no longer have root. your only option to get root back is to redo 2.1 SBF flash, go into recovery and factory reset. Let it boot up comletely to follow up with rooting 2.1 and test everything out to make sure it is good to go. Then you can move forward to updating to 2.2
