Help stuck in boot loop on unrooted droid

My wife's droid is unrooted; we just discovered her facebook account was hacked so we changed the password on the computer... Long story short, when logging out of facebook and then rebooting her phone it is now stuck in a boot loop. Her phone is not rooted, no applications have been installed in a few weeks. What should I do?

battery pull. if that doesn't help. factory reset.....

Alternatively, you could try booting into safe mode and see if that stops the rebooting.

Thanks guys, I pulled the battery, that didn't work. I was able to get it to stop, not sure how because all I did was leave the phone off for about an hour.
