Root Stuck in boot loop without recovery - advice needed

Hi

I am hoping someone can give me some advice.

I am stuck in a boot loop without recovery. I had just flashed super-nova but it wasn't working right so I followed the advice on droidzone's site to wipe and flash again. I wiped the cache and then the factory but then my finger slipped and hit something and the phone rebooted.

I hit the down volume key but nothing. I have since taken the battery out and it goes through to a black page with Android written on it in light blue. This is where it gets stuck.

Is there anything I can do? Is the phone bricked?

you will have a recovery there.
take battery out of device for 10 seconds, put it back in, hold down voldown + power
this will take you to bootloader, select recovery with voldown then click power to choose it.
this will take you to recovery

Once I held the power key down I managed to find recovery and successfully restored a backup.

Back on Leedroid froyo now...

btw, if you were using rom manager to access recovery before. DONT
