Help Stuck in download mode

Hello,

I've recently tried to put another version of Android on my S2, with Odin3 v3.07. However, I noticed that even after a few hours, nothing happened. Odin also wasn't showing any signs of activity, either. I shut down the program, but my S2 is still stuck in download mode. I don't want to brick it, so I'm leaving it as it is for now.

I've tried to use Kies to recover, but it showed an error message in Chinese. Here's the error.

What should I do now?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, but my KIES version is already 2.6.

Any other ideas?

Unfortunately, no.

The vibrate function in the phone broke, so I had to send it back. Before I sent it back, the Android version was 4.0. Now they sent it back to me, and the version is 2.2. Hence why I wanted to update it again.

I did open the phone's contents in Windows Explorer and copied everything to my computer before sending it back, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't copy Android itself.

If you still in download mode . Pull the battery wait for 15-25 minutes and place back in . When the phone goes back into the download mode at this time try to push any recovery such as cwm or twrp .

Am I correct in assuming that the handset is still booting into Download Mode even after a restart? If so, have you tried simply reflashing the firmware again with Odin?

Yes, I have. However, Odin never gets any further than NAND Write Start.

What we are trying to do is get the phone back on with a working rom or software that can be os . If that happen you can get it to update all you need to do is get it to recovery or get the original software and firmware .
