Help Stuck in Emergency Mode

Hi all,
I tried to update my phone to the Version 10S software with lg updater tool, and it didn't work. The program keeps saying that there was a problem with the communication between the program and the cell phone. Now the phone is stuck in emergency mode and won't boot up. I have even tried taking the battery out and putting it back in with no success.
Can anyone help?

I had this happen twice, T-Mobile was able to get me a new phone under warranty and transfer my files to the new phone. If you leave the phone in the charger, sometimes it will go back to normal. The store somehow was able to help me. I am on my third Optimus T in a year. My problem now is that I cannot get the old phone to go pass the LG screen. I need help with this, so I can transfer my messages to my new phone, if you can help.
