I was on xdabebbs newest ROM and installed the wrong kernel from twrp now I m stuck in fastboot mode. I can't go to download or recovery mode, always back to fastboot. Anyone able to help me solve this?

You have to use the fastboot function of the SDK to flash aboot and boot and then you can fastboot boot laf in order to restore download mode. At that point you can use LG Flash Tools to flash a tot (stock firmware).

OK so how do I do this? I tried fastboot flash openrecovery.IMG and it sent file and all but I still can't boot into it. I'm just lost now.

^^Not open recovery. Aboot, boot, and laf is what you need to be dealing with. There's some like threads in our G2 root forums you can refer to for even more specific details on the procedure.

OK. How do I unzip the 24a file. Keeps telling me its not a zip file

Really? I just downloaded and it extracted ok? There are extra img files in there you won't need but those can be ignored. Maybe try 7zip or another program to unzip?

OK so I flashed the 11a files and it took but its just sitting at fastboot. Do I need to do anything or try to get to download mode

After fastboot flashing aboot and boot, when you fastboot boot laf it should go into download mode.

Or did you end up flashing all 3?

Well it never went intodownload mode and now my screen I off and when I try to power it back on it vibrates but never a picture

Did you run the exact commands I posted in post #5 of this thread? If not, please post the exact commands you did perform.

Since you've already rebooted it, go ahead and press and hold power button for 15 seconds, no less, which should turn it off. Then press and hold volume up while at the same time plugging into USB. Did it go back to fastboot screen or no?

Well that's not a great sign. Open device manager while phone is plugged into usb and look for any connected devices. Do you see either LGE AndroidNet or qhsusb_bulk listed there?

LGE AndroidNet was download mode working (though screen was black which happens sometimes). Unfortunate we lost that with the reboot.

All you can do is long hold power for 15-20 seconds to turn off. You really should get back fastboot mode. If you don't at that time, then short of trying to re-issue the fastboot boot laf.img with a black screen...I'm out of ideas.
