Help Stuck in HBOOT - Can't do anything!

RandomOne

Lurker
Hello!
I'm stuck in HBOOT-mode. I can't navigate my way through the menus, because none of the buttons will work. So, basically I cant do anything. It's a rooted HTC Desire, S-ON.

I've tried the "PB99IMG.zip method", where I put the .zip into my SDCARD, and then reboot the device. On my second try, I came a little bit further than I did on my first. But, every time I use this method, it seems to get stuck when it says..

"Parsing ... [SD zip]
[1] Bootloader
[2] Radio V2
[3] Radio_Cust
[4] Boot
[5] Recovery
[6] System
[7] User Data
[8] Splash1
[9] Splash2
"

Why? Am I using the wrong .zip-file? Are there anything I can do, or should I just leave it to the service center? If you know, or if you think you know how to solve this issue, please let me know. Thank you, I would appreciated it!

If it doesn't boot and the hboot is original, theres no way to tell its rooted

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it! Well, it does boot, but only in HBOOT-mode. Won't they be able to check if the device is rooted anyways? What do you mean about the HBOOT being original?

Thanks in advance!

Their is no way their be able to check. Unless they really care about finding if it is or isn't but you have to remember the repair guys wont care too much their think its a fault and replace it.

Same problem here ....but if I remove battery it boots back to my rom...

When in bootloader unable to volume up or down and power off.
