Root Stuck In HBOOT

Hi I was about to attempt to install the windows drive to root my evo
public:windows_hboot_driver_install [RootWiki]

the problem is I put it in HBOOT mode (but pushing power and volume down) and it booted into HBOOT mode but now it's stuck there. What should I do?

I am having a simliair issue, I to am stuck in HBoot mode. When I click on recovery and try to reboot my evo it boots me back into my HBOOT. Can anyone help, please?

what is your hboot? can you get to recovery? if so what recovery do you have? did you do anything to get into this situation?

I am a noob to rooting...
I am having a problem with my evo. I am currently stuck in HBoot 2.18 (unlocked w/ s-on).
I was trying to do Smelkus 4.3 recovery to get Team DIRT ICS rom on my phone. Well something went wrong. I wasnt able to get the rom to work. I did a factory reset, restored previous backup, rebooted and all was fine. Or so i thought. i noticed after i tried to unroot i lost most of the files/folders on my sd card. but was still able to boot phone. well i went to factory reset phone again to root again and now its stuck in Hboot.....HELP PLEASE!

Can you hi light recovery and push power to get into recovery?
Can you use the volume up/down buttons to navigate in hboot?

Yea I can. But I got tired of messing with it so I took it back to sprint. Lol its still in warranty. So its getting replaced....I'll have it by this weekend. I think I may get the HTC evo 4g LTE!!!!
