Root Stuck in O2 Screen please help [Solved]

Hi,

I rooted my phone a year ago, installed CM 7.1 mod without any problems.. and used it for a long time
Whenever I used skype my phone randomly rebooted though, but still could start it.
Yesterday it rebooted again and got stuck on the O2 screen, tried taking sd card out and back and sim card as well, battery etc.
I can get into HBOOT screen but iof I go for recovery it gets back to O2 screen nothing else happens.
I was looking at similar threads but they could get into recovery or they had slightly different issues.

what happens if you power plus volume down?

I get to the HBOOT screen, but then pressing recovery gets me back to O2 screen

As you are S-Off you could reinstall the recovery using fastboot.
