i was deodexing my phone and did something wrong and got stuck on the "M" so i figured SBF was the way to fix this.. looks like i may of been wrong.. just a couple days ago i did the SBF using The Gift because i deleted apps that i needed to get the update OTA and everything went well.

well back to my problem at hand.. i did the sbf but it wont reboot it just keeps going back to the boot loader screen.. i used the gift and the shado neither has worked.. any one got any suggestions on this??? would like to be able to use my phone tonight haha

im downloading the droidx 2.3.32 full SBF just to see if that will work.. all and any suggestions will be helpful

guessing this thread was worthless cause the 2.3.32 worked great.. took me over an hour to get this right.. it kinda scared me lol.. every other time it took like 10 mins

You can use that thread to find out where your phone is at. When I used the SBF files, for some reason it didn't update my kernel all the way, and the SBF cannot update your bootloader so you're still at the old bootloader version.

By the way, these phones are basically impossible to brick. The worst case is you end up where you were stuck - in the bootloader. What probably happened with your phone is you tried to flash an SBF file that was older than your phone version, which will tell you it succeeded but will stick you in the bootloader.

I'm sure this is what happened but all is well now..when I get home from work il try to deodex it again..I don't know where it messed up at but it did lol..
