Root Stuck on ClockworkMod Recovery!!

Okay so I'm really thinking I bricked my phone but I hope I did not! I am phone-less right now.

First, I changed my stock ROM to MIUI Android 2.4.6 but it started to slow down a couple of hours later so I wanted to switch back to my stock ROM. I backed it up on my SD card and when I wiped data and cleared all cache in recovery mode, I went to backup and restore and tried to restore my stock ROM.

It said MD5 sum not found and it was an error. Right now I am stuck on the recovery mode without any other ROM to flash other than the stock ROM I thought was gonna work that was in my SD card. Now that I'm at the recovery mode menu, when I try to select on something, a Android opened box with an arrow coming out of it pointing towards an Android icon is showing up.

I need help pleaseeeee!!

If you can get into HBOOT, then you haven't bricked your phone. Have you tried just downloading another ROM and flashing that? You can also try downloading the stock ROM that's flashable in HBOOT, if you can't get back into CWM. Make sure that one is in PD98IMG.zip format. And you might be able to use the "Return to Stock" option in the AAHK. You'll lose root by doing that, but you can just run the AAHK again to reroot it.

That md5sum check issue is the exact reason I suggested in your other thread to check out 4EXT Recovery. You could've verified that before wiping the ROM. Once you get back up and running, you may want to take a look at it.

Thanks. I wasn't being allowed to select anything in CWM because when I selected something, there was no "Go Back" option so I pressed the back button key instead, which caused me to not be able to select anything. I took out the battery and put it back in then booted to CWM where I began to flash another ROM.

4EXT Recovery is the same thing as 4EXT Recovery Control?

4EXT Recovery is the the Recovery utility, similar to CWM. 4EXT Recovery Control is the corresponding app, similar to ROM Manager. You need to install Recovery Control, then use that to flash 4EXT Recovery.
