Stuck on Dowloading Do not turn off Target!!!

My son threw up on my rooted Fascinate

I opened it up and dried it out. The battery moisture indicator has turned pink but I think the phone indicator is fine (pink xxx's vs blue xxx's).

When I turned my phone back on, it worked for about a minute then started having a delay so I turned it off again and let it air out more.

When I turned it back on, it is now frozen on the "Dowloading...Do not turn off Target!!!"

I have tried to reboot but it just automatically goes right back to the "Downloading" screen.

I have also taken the battery out and plugged into my computer too. The computer doesn't recognize it at all.

Do you think it was ruined by the vomit or did an update bricked my phone?? Or does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it off of this screen??

if the water indicator is ok then just call vzw and get a new one. beats trying to fix it or going through possible future problems. Just dont tell them it was thrown up on, just tell them you rebooted and it did that.
