Help Stuck on the first boot screen

hey guys, so i'm freaking out right now cuz i think i bricked my phone
i'm stuck on the "att world phone" boot screen, it'll go black the just return to it

i was trying to a mod for the camera that i found, later realized that i had to deodex my phone to make it work so in the process of returning the some some files from /system/framework back to the original the phone froze, after 10 min of nothing i decided to pull the battery and reboot, now this

i tried holding the vol buttons and power button, i can go into that menu but apperently i don't have an update.zip file in my internal sd card

anything that i can do to fix this or is it bricked?

You might have to flash back to stock. You said your button combo allows you to access recovery mode, try accessing download mode and then using Odin to flash to stock. I don't think it is bricked if you can access recovery mode, likely a soft brick.

thanks, all is good again, now i just need to redo everything, good thing that i had made a backup before everything so it shouldn't take too long
