Stuck on triangle screen when creating nandroid

Hi Guys,
I am currently running Lion Rom V1.3. Used it for a week or so but got bad lag on lock screen so I then flashed Philz Kernel as suggested in the XDA thread which worked a treat and has been running fine for about the last month.
However I get easily bored and wanted to try another ROM (trying to find one with a good battery life). Anyhow, I found one I was going to have a go at and before downloading to flash I thought I would create a nandroid backup. Here is where the problem is. It got stuck on the screen before the boot screen (where it says galaxy s2 I9100 etc and the triangle). I left it on that screen for about 15-20mins before I realised that it is probably not going anywhere. So I pulled the battery and tried turning on, stuck at same screen. Tried booting into recovery but it just goes straight to that same screen. Any suggestions please? Thanks in advance.

phhe-ew,
I ended up flashing philz kernel again through odin (somehow managed to get download mode working but still not recovery). and it worked...eventually. I'm sure I'll hit a few more problems though, but for now at least I have a phone again. Hopefully this will help anyone else that runs into this issue.

I had same problem recently getting stuck on Yellow Triangle screen.

What I'd recommend is before flashing next ROM do a complete wipe & fresh install. Clean/wipe evetything u can, I've had no problems at all since I did this.

I think every now and then you should do it.
