Stuck on white HTC screen after Clockworkmod recovery

I am running AOSP 2.2.1.

I woke up this morning and had no signal. I tried to soft reset and it still didn't work. I seemed to get a little roaming but no 3g.

Since I just made a backup with ROM Manager few days ago, I figured I would just restore to that. NO DICE. When it was all said and done, my phone just booted up and stayed on the white HTC screen. It's still there. I booted into recovery and tried to resore from there, but to no avail. Can some one please advise me on the next step before I have to wipe it all and start over. I'm sure there is something simple I am missing, it has been a while since I rooted and all that. If you need any more info please let me know.

Since you already have a Nandroid, boot into recovery and wipe cache and davlik and report back

I'm having this same problem, except I can't even get into recovery.
I first started having this trouble when I was trying to nandroid a back up!

After several battery pulls, somehow I ended up on a screen (after pushing random buttons at start-up, in a panic), and on this screen I accidentally cleared data.

So, yeah, every time I try to reboot into recovery, I get the htc white screen of death.

What do I do?

Well - Good news....Your Not Bricked -
Bad news - You probably aren't S-off and will need to use ADB to push a recovery....
 
same thing happening to me. so what do i do to fix it? I dont care if it erases my memory. by the way, how do i use ADB to push a recovery?

A little more info on what exactly happened would help us troubleshoot for you.

Can you get to recovery?
