Root Stuck Splash Screen - need quick help

So CM10.1 was not working for me once I got to China for a business trip. It would never connect to a signal. I decided I would add a sense based rom to see if that would fix it. I went through the standard process for flashing a ROM and flashed Rage. Well it seemed to work except it woudl begin to bootloop every time I turned on WiFi. Since that was going to do, I tried adding a mostly stock ROM. The flash would never take and it would go to the HTC splash screen and freeze.

Through a series of unfortunate events of working on this with a very jet lagged mind, I am stuck. I can access bootloader and recovery. My knowledge of ADB and fastboot are pretty limited. I have a saved nandroid backup on my computer but not on my SD card. My SD card is completely wiped clean.

How do I push the nand back to my empty SD card through adb?

How do I push a different ROM onto the SD card or flash it through fastboot?

I have tried many things but don't seem to be making much progress. Being stuck traveling all over Asia with no phone is getting tough, ha. I'd appreciate the help.

as an update... adb and fastboot are no longer finding my device. I'm not sure if I'm doing something different or what, but now both are unusable. This is putting me in quite a bind...

update: scratch that - adb just started working again.

I should really start posting questions here sooner, because it seems every time I do I figure out the problem : /

I learned about sideloading through ADB and used that to push a new Rom to the phone that actually took this time. Now that I'm back on a sense Rom it seems everything is working here in Taiwan.

Yes, I am s-off. And I guess I'm not out of the woods yet. I rebooted the phone after restoring apps and data from titanium backup and it got stuck on the boot screen. I'm now wiping and trying again.

Nope. So far so good. I decided not to try restoring all apps through titanium backup again simply because I don't have more time to troubleshoot things if it causes problems again. So far mean bean ROM seems to be working well. I'm still not sure why CM10.1 didn't work while traveling through Asia, but I'll definitely be going back to it when I get home again.
