Help Stupid Question re updating

Trying to follow instructions on updating with odin , well the part about putting phone in downlaod mode by simultaneously press the Down volume key+ Home button + press the power button . anybody got a "tip" for this , seems my fingers cant do the magic to make this work

Try this ... hold the phone in your right hand. With your index finger press and hold the volume up button. With the index finger on your left hand, press and hold the home button. Now with your right thumb, press the power button.

Don't you mean volume "down" and not volume "up"
