Okay, so I guess I'm just an idiot - how do I turn off the sound that the phone makes when a call ends? It's driving me nuts.

I could have sworn I was able to turn it off on my HTC Incredible, but I guess I could be nuts.

Maybe if you root the phone this might be possibe but i think its just one of the phones features. I would google your question along with rooting and see what happens. ALso did you download some kind of phone call app. I dont really notice the noise since i text more than talk on the phone.

I've never even noticed a noise when a call ends. What kind of noise is it? Does it occur when you hang up, or the other person? I dunno, maybe it's because I have my phone on vibrate all the time, so I don't get any notification sounds, or anything like that. *shrug*
It's a beep, like... I dunno how else to describe it. It's the HTC's version of a beep.
And it just happens when a call ends, no matter who hangs up.

I barely notice it an i had the Inc for a little less than a year. I still dont notice it on this phone. Im not sure why it bothers you so much.

I guess because it's loud and obnoxious, and because I'm not used to it, lol.
