Root SU? Help understanding?

kri5pi3

Newbie
Once the new firmware is flashed, enable USB debugging and push su and the root script. Pay attention to the paths, do not push to a different path or it will not work.
adb push su /data/local/tmp/su
adb push jc.sh /data/local/tmp/jc.sh
adb shell chmod 755 /data/local/tmp/jc.sh
adb reboot

Would somebody please help me understand what I do here? I believe the flash went through perfect..it rebooted my phone up and now I have no idea how to understand this next part...

where ever you have the files that you got to root your phones I.E jc.sh and su you need to use the cd command to navigate.

For Example mine is on my desktop in a folder called root so I do:

cd C:\Users\Salvatore\Desktop\root
Then once there you run the commands you have listed above in your command prompt as long as you have adb installed in your path

If you do not have adb installed start installing SDK:
This will be better, because he explains it in depth:
http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/what-is-adb-and-how-to-install-it-android/
This is straight from android:
http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html

If adb installed but is not in your path on windows then put the files that would be in my folder called root(jc.sh, su...etc) in your android-sdk-windows folder under platform-tools

I got as far as it telling me *daemon started successfully* and everything else I've typed just gives me adb: permission denied....

What's going on now..?
