Root Success rate?

Looking at rooting my DHD I have been putting it off for a while, but I do want to change some stuff. I was wondering what is the success rate of the visionary way of perm rooting. I really don't want to mess things up on my phone.

Cant really say what the success rate is. But i managed to do it a few nights ago, starting from knowing sod all about it. Read a few guides, experienced a couple of hic ups, but all went more smoothly than i had thought.

Hi there,

I used the following info to root, ENG S-OFF and S-OFF my DHD and after that, I flashed both ROM and RADIO ROM to my satisfaction:

Downgrade in order to root:
[GUIDE] How to downgrade 1.7x/1.8x to 1.32.405.6 - xda-developers

Simple S-OFF and Radio S-OFF:
[TOOL][VIDEO] One click Radio S-OFF, SimUnlock (Easy Root & S-OFF Guide) - xda-developers

Don't worry, things don't go wrong that fast and if you think they do, don't turn off your phone and ask for help on XDA.
