We have root! the mad scientists at xda, namely Bin4ry found a way...

I used normal (1)
watched for opportunity to press restore..
and it did what it was supposed to!!

titanium backup proved it for me.

now for a recovery and rom....
so many thanks to all devs for always finding a way!!

if you get a stock backup can you upload some where ?

I have nandroid backup and system backup
