Successor to the HTC One MAX?

I've had my One Max for over a year now & while I still love my phone, I keep wondering if HTC will come out with a new version of it. I was hoping the One M9 Plus would be it, but the it turns out to be a China only release plus the specs didn't match up. So my question is do you think there will ever be a true successor to the HTC ONE MAX?

I've been rocking the OneMax since release, with a couple short breaks. It's finally starting to really show its age.

I had been holding out hope for lollipop on this sucker, chances are that is never happening.

So I would love a true successor. But 5.9 is a bit too big for me. 5.3-5.5 is the sweet spot I'm hoping.

I would have been all over the m9 plus if it wasn't a China exclusive. Why not make it world wide, come on HTC. I really want HTC to succeed, but it seems they can't get out of their own way sometimes....

I love the screen size. I jus think they need to find a way to make the speakers smaller while retaining their loudness & quality. That would reduce the overall size of the phone. If HTC made a successor to this phone with the updated camera & specs, I feel it would give the Note & 6 Plus a run for their money. But yes unfortunately HTC is their own worst enemy it seems & they need to make some changes.
