Suction Car Mount

Here's a question for those of you that park outside...maybe over night or at some location.

Do you leave your phone docks in place, or do you hide them in-case someone sees the dock and wants to break in.

I used to always hide my radar detector, then after awhile I got lazy and figured it was in fron of my house and started leaving it. Then of course someone broke in. Now I just remove all the hardware, but leave the window docks in place.

I'm afraid if I keep removing the docks, they will lose their strength. What do you guys do?

Best bet is to take it off and hide. i never leave mine out.

iBolt with the Otterbox Commuter case with no modifications. I use it every day as GPS for work. Love using Waze over the stock Navigation. Sorry for the dodgy picture! I'm driving over 70 mph heading to St. Louis.

It really sticks well to the curved dashboard? The Exomount 2 is still holding strong on my dash but would not seal on any of the curved areas. I'll definitely consider giving the Exomount to my wife and switching if that one can really work on a curve

Yes it does. You have to make sure you're firmly pushing down on the mount base when you flip the suction lever down, though, to make sure that the sticky suction cup is in full contact with with the surface.
