Suddenly Poor battery life

Suddenly HTC One M8 has had poor battery life with minimal use. What should I look for as the culprit(s)??

Phone is stock (NOT Rooted) Android 4.4.4 with very few apps installed. (about 5 months old)
 
go to settings, power then battery usage and look at what it shows as using the greatest percentage of your battery. This should give you an indication of battery hog.
