Help Suddenly Wifi will not authenticate

My GN ,up until yesterday, would connect to the Wifi in the office. Now it says, "Failure to authenticate". I tried telling it to forget the SSID, then scanned, and once it found the hotspot again, I re-entered the password. The problem persists. I checked. The password is correct.

It connects to the Wifi in my flat, and at Burger King as expected.

My all my other devices connect as they always have (Goophone, Galaxy S Duos, iPhone).

Why did the office Wifi hotspot suddenly exclude my GN? Have you seen this before? How did you fix it?

Long shot - Did the network channel number change and is it still in a valid range for the region set for your phone?

Why did I not think of that? Banned maybe. I have used it for listening to music, and South Park episodes. Hahaha

I wonder if it is banned by MAC or device name? Hmmm

Suggestions?

We have two network admin. One for the 3Com routers, and all the Windows PCs. The other is the Linux admin.

I can easily consult the Linux admin. He is ME!

I do not want to create friction. I do not want him to know it was my phone that he blocked. :p

Sorry, I was trying to say, I did not want to piss off the other admin. He has "turf" issues. He does not like Linux, and Android all that much. He likes Windblows.

Anyway he controls the routers. If he knew I was hogging the bandwidth, then he would look into other stuff I am up to and then I loose privileges.

I only keep up anything running Linux, and that pays better.
