Root suggestion to flash

Guys as we all know u Micromax has CPU of media tek.
So someone try sp flash tool
Its a special tool to flash mediatek phones.
Please someone give a try.

Now, open SP Flash Tool and make sure you mark USB Mode under Options tab.

Load the scatter file (MT6573_Android_scatter.txt) and ignore any message that may appear. After that, select the part you wish to flash into your MT65x3 based phone and make sure you select the right file location. In this example, it's shown the recovery partition.

With phone completely switched off, press F9 (or hit Download button - the third one with an arrow) to start download and when the countdown starts connect the USB data cable into your phone. To make sure your phone is completely turned off, remove the battery and replace it after a few seconds.

Their is no response from the phone. Sp flash tool is showing as searching for long time.

I installed MT65*3 usb vcom drivers

ROOT_1.1.rar and PHonesuite are in china language

Flash tool v5 is not working.

Yes this phone runs on MT6573

Phone suite is in chinese. I am not able to understand how to connect

I think we have to enter the download mode. I don't know how to enter download mode in Micromax A75

mate you dont need to enter download mode your mobile is going to be switched off
and one more thing in this video he describes for lower end mt chipset which need some additiona wirecase but mt6573 dont need that
but the procedure is same

since it is for mtk 6516 procedure is same
 
@ Rudra. I used PC to update it. The files are the same as on given here.
The steps are as follows:
1) Choose download agent
2) Choose scatter loading file
3) Untick PRELOADER
4) Switch off phone, Install provided drivers (given in this forum)
5) click Download. The s/w will ask you to connect the phone(switched off)
Done.

@chughgopal, The phone seems a bit faster. ( requires more usage to confirm) but internal free space is now 135mb.
Will keep you guys posted. Tried with Gowthams files also, but it requires system.img file (a 200mb + file) which is not there. Should it be created with Gowthams files?

Any updates on rooting?
 
@rahulhnair did you tried system.img provided by micromax with gautams rom if you flashes with gautams rom it will get rooted
you used sp flash tools isnt?
 
I knew that file would help.
M searching more in this mediatek stiff now.
