Root suggestion to flash

I am also getting the problem with vcom drivers as device Unplugged. At once drivers are installed and disconnected.

I think rahulhnair is using different data cable to flash. Tommorow I will try to flash using nokia data cable.

Once I unfortunately pressed volume up+volume down+power and I got Factory mode which have the following options
full test
item test
test report
clear flash
version
reboot

In this menu what is clear flash. If it really formats the flash (so we will not get the battery animation) I think we can install the update. But I am afraid it will brick the phone!

I think we can overclock our cpu upto 806MHz after rooting :)

Today I opened EngineerMode By Dailing * # * # 3646633 # * # * (Please try at your own risk and don't make any changes their)

Their I pressed CPU Freq Test > Start CPU Freq Test > and I got the following

Info:
Set APMCU Frequency = 806MHz
ARM Power Trans Test Pattern Pass
 
clear flash is ok.
I did that.
It just factory resets your phone.
So if u try it, do take a back up..
Otherwise I'll lose all your data.
 
@rudra did you tried to take out the battery and put it back after connecting to usb and switching off the device
 
@rudra baud rate is set to 921600 bps.?
did you tried to partially format your nand before switching off the device

When i select USB mode in sp flash tool Baud rate is disabled.

How to format nand?

I tried every thing else but not working. :(

If we have a data cable which doesn't Charge the phone through usb will help us or we have to find out the Keys to enter download Mode.
Spice Mi-350 also having MT6575 which need to press and hold camera button and insert the data cable to enter into download mode. But our phone (MMX A75) Don't have the camera button. :( .

I tried to Press some Combination of keys to enter download mode when inserting the data cable. Nothing works.
 
keep your mobile on and plug to usb
under project you are able to choose Android or Windows Mobile choose android
make sure you have selected the right COM port is selected and that baud rate is set to 921600 bps. Click on Format to literally format NAND flash of your a75
i think you have to do the above thing when the mobile is on

Then turn off your HD9, remove the battery and plug the serial cable to the PC and to the phone. Click Start, replace the battery and press power button for a few seconds until you see the red progress bar along with the message Format All is Processing.

After the red progress bar is complete, the real format will begin and a green progress bar will appear.

When the process is finished a
new window will pop up, just
press OK to continue

Now remove the battery once again, keeping the serial cable connected to the PC and the phone. Click Download and make sure that every file needed to flash is selected

With phone completely switched off, press F9 (or hit Download button - the third one with an arrow) to start download and when the countdown starts connect the USB data cable into your phone. To make sure your phone is completely turned off, remove the battery and replace it after a few seconds.

i found something intersting
in engineeringmode. I pressed memory > NAND FLASH
IT SHOWS TOTAL SIZE=512MB
MEANS WE HAVE 512MB RAM :confused::confused::confused::confused:

I have found a way to root a75.
Anyone who have update zip provided by mmx pls post up ramdisk.img,boot.img and ramdisk-recovery.img from that.
 
@varun are you compiling for a75 ? or then who is doing it !? playfullgod ?

Actually I was not able to open the ramdisk.img thats why wanted the md5 but its correct and still unable to open it so I m taking help from karan for opening it.
Rest rooting and all I m gonna do.
