Root Super Problem with my optimus M

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum, but I've been using it for months, and this site has guided me through every phone fix I needed, and every rom and root walk through. And now I need help again with what I can't find anywhere else.

It all started after the root. I would go to marketplace, and it would always have a error message and force close it restarting marketplace. It didn't make it unusable, just annoying. And when I would try to download apps. They'd download, but afterwards it would force close before the installation, and not finish. So I had to go back to my apps each time, and click on the app to get it going. But I recently switched to the lg optimus v, and tried to sell the optimus m. When I factory restored it thought, the marketplace changed, and I was no longer able to start the installation processes. So I cant download anything even file explorer, and all I have is the couple of apps I didnt delete when I was deleting bloatware.

My question is. Is there someway to restore it through adb back to it's full factory setting the way it came in the box, or some sort of custom rom I can load and replace it? Right now all it can do is take calls. Pretty useless.

I didn't do a custom recovery so I had no way of doing that....... Im currently trying to load a custom recovery now, but my adb doesnt find my phone's serial........ So I dont know what to do about that........if anyone has had that problem, any help?
I get as far as
cd/
cd C:\android\platform-tools\
adb devices
