Superpad 2 Flytouch 3 (aliexpress.com)

Hello Guys,

I am looking forward to buy the following from aliexpress.com, they are the only reseller shipping to Pakistan, the price is also good. i have two questions to ask you guys.

Wholesale 10.2"Black Android 2.2 4GB/8GB Tablet PC Flytouch 3

(1) is this flytouch 3 a genuine product. :confused:
(2) can anybody validate resellers trustworthiness.

I did some research and got to know that iBex 32G Flytouch 3 & Facepad Flytouch 3 are the best products to buy, but i haven't seen any reseller shipping them to Pakistan.
 
I just buy the same like you but from this seller (choose from transaction history). They ship from HK to Thailand in one day by DHL and give me a screen protect for free. But it's stuck at Thaipost now. I want to know about this product too. :p
 
To check if you have the latest genuine FT3 all you have to do is check the battery. The lastest model has an 8000mah battery. Second thing that you should look is if its a disco model. If its not seems you will have trouble. If it is , no matter the rest specs, you will be able to mod it and use Tim's Rom so you will unlock your tab and make it faster. (Well in a very easy way at least.)

codered0001 yours have the 6400mah battery, seems FT3 used to have that kind of battery before it got replaced with the 8000mah. Also the case (or how its called) looks like a facepad's case. And also in one of the pictures it clearly shows that the model is Disco10 so yeah at least it seems its not one of the lesser models existing around. Hopefully it will be a disco10, or at least disco, like the images indicate and not something lesser. Well anyway it looks genuine with just a smaller battery.

Well thanawat yours at a first glance looks like a lesser clone. 4000mah battery, Superpad 3 for name, the case looks like a facepad.. well I will not take away your hopes because I have seen others with clones that have a disco model. Sadly your seller doesn;t have a screen like this:

Maybe email them and ask them if the model is a disco?

sound like sad news for me :( I will check that when I receive. but if it was clone, can I still use tim's rom to update my pad ?

It might be better than FT3, might not. The Cortex A8 processor made me want to buy a Dawa D9. At leat from other tablets it was more knows and it had a model name. Thankfully I asked myself a question before Buying Dawa D9. Ok I am buying one and its all great and super. And after I buy it what? If you will try to load a app or a game and it will not work. Or if you will want to try to root it? Sadly I found 0 support in any forums I found for Dawa D9 and to tell the truth I chose the Facepad because I found this forum here. Great support and rooting it ( adding the Tim's Modded rom) took me a minute. If you have not yet bought te tablet I will suggest you to look here. Authorized Reseller's . I bought mine from chinagrabber but the site is down. Just remember that FT3 has a different case but has 8000mah battery while Facepad has an 6400 battery , looks better, has better speakers and seems to be compatible with facebook and such social applications. I chose the facepad over the 8000mah battery.

Yes I have seen in posts in the forums and even resellers that sell disco models and they have lower batteries. You should not worry much. Wait until you will get it and check after to see :)
 
Oh and thanawat. Even if you will get a sawee pad I am pretty sure you will be able to root it one way or another. I have seen in posts of other forums that people managed to root it using Universal Androot or other rooting apps. So still don't worry much about it.

Found this pic from another buyer feedback whit the same pad. May be it's not that bad :confused:. But first thing I will do when it arrived is check model number.
 
Yes you can't load Tim's rom on the sawee but still can root it to unlock many features. And if its a disco rejoice. My facepad is a disco. I wondered at first whats the difference with disco10 but who cares since everything works on it too :)

So guys can i safely order this product, i can understand its not iBex Flytouch 3, i can live with a 6400Mah battery rest is same for both. and IBex are expensive to.

difficult to say really...the pictures show it is a DISCO model so thats good. The spec says it has a 9volt power adapter..that's bad because the DISCO uses a 5 volt supply, the SAWEE build uses a 9 volt supply. One of those two 'facts' would appear to be wrong.

Can Merimobiles deliver to you? They have a sale on at the moment and they supply the DISCO model, currently shipped with Tims4e firmware available from their site....

That leaves you up sh1t creek without a paddle then doesn't it! I would contact the seller again and ask them to advise if the firmware can be updated (because half the things they claim work actually won't work....just lay it on a bit thick!) and where should you look for that firmware or else any firmware re-flash you try will be at your risk!
 
Guys, just recieved the superpad, it is also P041 so i guess im screwed to...

is their any way i can add tim's ROM on this machine.

I can run youtube, app store is working fine, angry birds is running its a bit slower, its my first FT3 so im not sure if this is the default behavior.

There have been people posting OEM firmware that flashes from the sdhc for the P041 so I think you just need to be patient and wait for Tim or TCH to release a compatible version.
 
I have got firmware from dart16 (somewhere I can't remember:o) and it's work great.I think you should have it. when some thing go wrong just flash with that firmware. you may ask him for link or PM me I kept it in my Dropbox.
 
I don't have any major issues with the firmware except it runs very slow, lets hope we have a firmware to run the latest fast ROMs for P041.

As I understand it someone is arranging a loan machine for Tim who should be able to sort things out; it's just a matter of time...
 
This is a very old post, fer sure, but I'm new to this so I'm going to take a shot and maybe someone who can help me will get flagged.

I have what appears to be a 10 inch Flytouch (?) clone, got it two years ago: old version android 2.4 maybe, resistive touch, I think core 9 or A9 chip, GPS via antenna, no branding, came in plain box, no documentation, not rooted. Worked well for what it was. Without specific, lay term, questions about the device I can offer no more. I hardly ever used this tablet but my son wants it. Trouble is that it's stuck at the little android guy. I wanted to discharge and try a reboot but each time I check it tells me it needs charging, this tells me there's juice left in the battery. Even getting it back to factory default would help. I'm going to post in other threads to see if I can get help from anyone. If you're even reading this, thanks.
