SuperPad VI w/4.0

Have a tablet (SuperPad VI) with 2 usb ports. 1 (upper) port does not work. Happened before and don't want to send back for repair. Is there a way to reset the port or . . . ? Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Would like to use both ports.

sorry but i'm not a technician. if it is a hardware issue then unless you are good with soddering electrical things, you might need to take it in or just deal with it.

Actually, it wasn't a hardware issue. Someone else advised to change the USB OTG Control settings from Device (default) to Host and bingo it worked. Hope this helps someone else.
