Help Superpad Wifi disconnects?

Hi! So I posted this in my intro but thought maybe it'll have a better chance of being answered here.

I have a superpad 2.1 update 1
Kernel 2.6.32.9
Build deb-r-2.1-1623

I got the pad yesterday and used my boyfriends wifi (no password) and connected to the net and registered etc no problem.
Got home and tried to connect to my wifi internet (username and password) and it connects but then 5 seconds later it disconnects.

I did a quick search as to what the problem might be but as a noob I don't really understand what I must do etc

What source are you trying to tap off of? Do you have a wireless system in place at your home? If so, what kind of system is it, and is it secured or unsecured? Also, how strong is the signal you're getting from it?

I can connect to the guy down the hall, unsecured network, but with password etc can not log onto my wireless network at home. WPA2/WEP, 10 digit password. I do fine with an ethernet cable, but it stops there. You have an impressive list of apps there, I'll check out a couple for sure .... As to signal, signal is strong I am sitting right next to it, or in the next room, I tried alternating that "just in case"

When it disconects, does it re-connect for 5 secs, then diconnect, re-connect? etc..

If so, remove all security and verify that you can connect. Then one by one, put back on security (MAC, WEP, SIDD boradcast..etc..). You will soon find the culprit.
