Root Superuser Issues

Superuser wont update binaries and keeps denying root access to my apps now it would seem. I did just upgrade from Infused v2.1.0 to v2.2.3 and I dont believe I noticed it doint that before. Anyone have any suggestions.

Oh... No I downloaded the Infuse v2.2.3 via Rom Manager. Trying to manually update the binary for Superuser but having trouble finding what and making sure I do it correctly. LOL Superuser wont even give itself root access.

I just used the app called Root Checker and it thinks the phone is not rooted. Under /System/Bin is SU ver 3.0 (binary). It sees everything but says its not rooted. Would it be good to re-root it still?

SuperOneClick is not working either. Didnt see anything on how to manual update the binaries for superuser. Ugh.

I downloaded SuperSU and tried it but not sure if it is conflicting with superuser and it was having a binary issue too. From what I seen it is a better app so if you could advise me how I can get it to replace superuser Im all ears.

If he still has the superuser.zip he can simply reflash it go gain root access stuff like this happens to me i decided to flash superSU easier to update binaries and less buggy then superuser :D

So I can just go tot the market and download/install SuperSU or does it have to be done another way because I tried it via the market and it didnt go so well.

You can simply just google SuperSU.zip and you will find a link download it to your sd card and make sure you know where you put it then shut the phone off hold vol up and power(or your combo of keys to boot into recovery) go to install zip from sd, locate superSU.zip, click install, yes, let it flash and reboot and wah la! No more pesky superuser :) it replaces superuser with superSU

Here is where the problem is. No matter whether Im trying to use superuser or SuperSU it wants to update the SU binary and that is where it is failing... If I can figure a way around that I think I would be ok...

Take those steps and once you have rebooted go to the app select update binary and it will finish there is a way with superuser also you can go to setting/applications/manage applications/ look for superuser and unistall it trust me :) (it does not unistall the app just the updates) then after thats done go back and do the binary update it SHOULD pass when it does you can go to the market and update superuser

It would appear that everything is working fine. I have both superuser and supersu though and it seems to acting like superuser is granting the rights and not supersu. Also it updated the binary ok however it did give me a fail on a test of it. How can i ensure that supersu is being used.

Actually I am not sure but it is working however the error is as follows "Copying su to /system... fail!" so I guess its not updating the su although it is granting access.
