Root Superuser problem

I have an HTC Desire, ive rooted my phone using unrevoked, superuser, and titanium backup, i have un rooted my phone and superuser still exists and i cant download new apps, anyone have any idea what went wrong or how i can fix this? ... ive rebooted my system twice and tried re-rooting not sure what to do next....

How did you "unroot"? You can only unroot using an official Rom upgrade utility (ruu) which wipes the entire device and reinstalls everything. If you had done this correctly, there's no way superuser could still exist.

i only wiped my drive i have just recently heard about the RUU to unroot my phone, i think this will solve my problem thanks and do any of you suggest a certain RUU to use? also i use a macbook Pro so im not sure if that will matter at all?
