Root superuser problems..

chasen

Newbie
I've had my EVO rooted for just a few days with revolutionary.
I used titanium and deleted the bloatware (no backup for them).
I got prompted to update superuser ap. I did the update and then
my titanium wouldn't get superuser access anymore.
So i tried to un-do the update, with no sucess, so i did a factory reset.
When the phone came back on from the reset, it had the old version of SuperUser so i downloaded Titanium again and it still won't work
It keeps Force Closing superuser!

help please....

if you flashed the older version of su then just try and wipe dalvik cache and cache and see if that helps.

no luck.
i wiped dalvik and cache, rebooted and still nothing recognized SuperUser.
when i try using RootChecker or Titanium it just pops up "force close Superuser".

crap, now what

"The application Superuser (process com.noshufou.android.su) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

That's the message i keep getting.

That link is the directions i followed to do the root..

Run a permissions fix from either ROM manager or recovery (suggested method, found in "other" or "advanced" depending on your recovery)
