Root Support help! Installing a rom on galaxy s

I have a Samsung Captivate that I just rooted by following

--androidforums com/captivate-all-things-root/483646-guide-root-official-2-3-5-guide.html

I found out that I cant use cwm to install cryomod. So I followed a latter post to flash a kernal. I did that and it shows when I reboot.

Here is what I did.

--forum.xda-developers com/showthread.php?t=1294477

Now Im stuck on how to install this rom I have on my sd card.

Ok now I fixed my first problem, Now I have a new one. Im not seeing my rom when I try to install it from cwm recovery.

Hi veedubyall, and welcome to AF :)

Where did you put the zip file on your SD card? And how exactly are you trying to install it (i.e. the install zip from sd option or the other one, which wants a file called "update.zip" - I would always go for the one that lets you browse and choose your own file)? And if you really can't see it from recovery, check that it's there from your normal file explorer.

Good luck, and if you can't find it give us as much information as you can and someone will be able to help.

If you have the file on your external sd card, move it over to your internal, saves for alot of headaches :)

Otherwise you should have options to install from sd card (internal) or install from external sd card

It's been a long time since I've had my captivate, last had it 6 months after launch, but i think that's how it was.
