Root Supressing market update?

I am running redux right now, which doesn't seem compatible with the new market.

That's fine with me, but I am continually having to uninstall the update for the market since it seems to be auto-updating. I can't find where to disable this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Uninstall the market updater app.

If you are not S-Off, you can remove it from the zip and reflash the ROM. I expect that freezing it with Ti Backup would also work, but prefer to just remove it.

Thanks....I am s-off, so uninstalling is an option. I'll try freezing first.
