Help surface update

I turned on surface updates on my phone to cheat on a game.... I tuned it back off and noq my screen is flickering. I tried a soft and hard reboot. I have alcatel one touch idol. On black pages i can see four vertical gree lines. Please help
 
Its under developer options. It causes the screen to flicker everytime the screen refreshes so it blinks very fast. I cant screenshot it because its a flicker. When screen refresh is on it flickers with a pink xolor. I turned it off and ibstill have flicker. Picture a florescent bulb flickering like its about to burn out but this flickers very fast. I got the phone a month ago.
 
Are the vertical green lines always there in same place, no matter the orientation? If so could be a screen problem, and would need replacing.
 
When I enabled that setting (Show surface updates) on my N5, I also accidentally enabled the Show layout bounds setting (pretty cool effect, too).

Are you sure that you've disabled all of the other "Drawing" settings just in case they accidentally got turned on?
 
I checked it out...its all off. Its like the screen is stuck on the flicker. I even did a factory reset. Maybe it burned up the lights in the phone or something

Dude I did the same thing btw I have the same phone as you and before I turned it on it was fine but when I turned it off it started to do the same thing that happened to you and idk why it is doing that

If it's same as the OP one, the screen is very likely faulty and needs replacing.

No its not faulty I have a really good phone and screen it started when I turned on surface updates and when I turned it off it was still flickering without the pink screen and I only turned it on to cheat on a game called piano tiles 2 and the cheat does work but it just still stays flickering even after you turn it off
