Apologies is this is a dumb question, but I couldn't find an answer after quite a bit of searching.
I recently rooted my HTC Desire, and am now running Cyanogenmod 7 with Go Launcher Ex. I've been noticing some nasty battery drain, so I installed the "Where's My Droid Power?" app. It's currently reporting that my status bar is using 24% of the battery.
Is this normal, and if not, can anyone recommend some ways to bring this down? The next highest are Where's My Droid Power (2.92%) and Go Launcher Ex (2.85%). The only visible apps running that are linked to the status bar are 3G Watchdog (using 0.56%), Quick Settings (0.23%) and Juice Defender (1.92%).
