Help swapped from gs2 to skyrocket=no data?

i just swapped to a skyrocket from a normal gs2, and now i can't get the data to work at all. wifi is fine, but no data. it seems like a setting or something but I have the "data packet" checked on in the mobile data settings.....

my sim card says 3g and is white and blue...not sure why that would matter though. I live in an area (ottawa,IL) that doesnt have LTE so i should have H+ but im not sure what im doing wrong....?

i checked the power save mode ect...any ideas? thanks guys

actually got data to work...i had to change the apn i was using by following this link: worked flawlessly. I havent tried an mms yet but im confident it will work. [FIX] AT&T SGS2 Data Speed Issue's (Correct APN Settings) - xda-developers

My wife's SR kept losing data, I had to call AT&T and found that when the store sold the phone and added the unlimited LTE data (grandfather plan) they did not provision the account correctly. If you call and use the original APN, you should be fixed

went into ATT and they changed my account to an lte account, and they updated my Sim card and did some push updates. Then I changed my apn back to stock and waited a little hit now my mms works and my 4g indicator is on but the speed is no where near what the speeds I was pulling with the "phone" apn. Hopefully it gets better. It was 2.5 average down up to 5 and now its like 1.
