Help Swapping Phones

I plan to move from my Gnex to the G2. Sadly it isn't that easy because I don't want to lose unlimited data.

I plan to order via my wife's upgrade and then activate using her line. My question is by doing this will she lose any phone data?

Seriously if I ruin her Candy Crush she will kill me!

I am worried if I remove her sim card that it would treat it like a factory reset when I move her back....

I just did this with my Gnex to Maxx upgrade. I have unlimited data, my son has tiered data. I can say that no data was lost on my Gnex. Literally all that happens is that sim cards are swapped as long as the sim cards are the same.

For me that was the problem. The Maxx uses a nano sim with NFC. It's the ONLY phone out that uses it. So when I tried to switch the sims, two things hit me. One, the Gnex sim wouldn't fit and two, I'm screwed because no one has a nano sim.

Long story short, after three days of waiting on a new sim to be delivered to find out they shipped me the wrong one, I was able to call Verizon Wireless and they transferred my number to the Maxx and my son's number to my Gnex.

All the while no data has been lost. Just don't change anything on her Gnex and nothing will change.

I removed the sim card form my Gnex multiple times and the data was the same as before I removed it.

Thank you for putting my mind at ease on losing her data. She actually has a RAZR HD.

So here are my steps as best that I can figure.

-remove her sim put it in the G2
-start up the G2 and sign in with wife's info
-wait til the G2 shows on website under my wife's number
-power down put her sim back in RAZR HD and sign back in
-remove my sim from Gnex and place in G2
-Boot up G2 sign in with my credentials and the phone is now on my account

Does that seem right?

Truth is I found out that you don't ever have to switch the sims at all. All you have to do is call Verizon Wireless and tell them that you want to switch the phone numbers on the sim cards. That's ultimately what I ended up doing because there were no nano sims with NFC available. Apparetly they should have offered this the day I bought the phone. You don't ever have to switch the sim cards.
