Root Swapping SD Cards with a rooted Incredible

Hi everyone. I have a question sorry if its a little noobish... I have a rooted Incredible and want to swap my SD card for one with more memory will I need to transfer anything from my previous card that is critical for the root or is everything on there just a back up? Thanks for everyone's help in advance!

Just copy over your files and plug it in. Nothing fancy.

I had a similar question like that, I want to upgrade my SD card. My phone is rooted. I have a 8 gig card and want a 16 gig card can I just put in the new card and it won't effect my being rooted, or is their a process of doing this. Thanks for all your help.

It looks like you just have to copy the files on your old card to the new one and pop in the new one.

I guess that's my question how do you accomplish this. transferring from old to new.

Not for sure, but you might be able to connect your cable to computer, copy all files to a temp location, put in the new card and copy back to the new card. Again just thinking outloud.

Create a file on your PC desk top called SD card, Mount your phone to your PC with USB cable, Copy all the files from the 8 gig SD card in your phone to that folder. Un mount phone, Remove 8 gig card from phone, install 16 gig, Mount phone copy contents of SD folder to 16 gig.
